So here I am with another rant for the same guy, Blue. Lately, myself, and he have been hearing some rather outrageous things concerning this topic. Lately, I’ve been hearing from a lot of antifeminists that straight male feminists are slaves to female feminists and are thus being controlled by them. I don’t know about anyone else but that’s the most absurd thing that I’ve ever heard. I mean, I can kind of see where that might be perceived, but to me there’s a difference between an actual feminist and these “feminists” who make supposedly make slaves out of straight men. So there’s feminists and “feminists” and I wouldn’t call the women who pull this shit feminists at all. Yes, a feminist is someone who supports feminism, but by definition, feminism is the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes, the ideology that men and women are equal, etc.
That's funny, I’m not seeing the slavery, domination, or degradation of men anywhere in that definition. It almost seems as though this ideology that straight male feminists are slaves to feminists was fabricated by anti-feminists as another reason to hate all feminists, but I think that the biggest problem lies with those who are referred to as the third wave feminists. No true feminist would bull this shit.
If you are a woman, and you claim to be a feminist and claim that you’re more superior than a man is, then you’re not a feminist. If you claim to be a feminist and treat men like shit, or a slave, you’re not a feminist, you’re just a bossy, controlling bitch. You can’t be a feminist and hate men, it just doesn’t make sense.
While we’re at it, I’m going to tack on that to say that men can’t be feminists doesn’t make any sense either, there’s a large multitude of male celebrities who are feminists who would probably object to the phrase “men can’t be feminists.” Patrick Stewart was a witness to his mother being abused by his father when he was a child. In 2009, he gave a speech for Amnesty International UK. Remembering the impact that the abuse had on him as a child, he spoke to the responsibility men to end this violence against women: “Even if she had [done something to provoke my father to hit her], violence is a choice.”
Alan Alda has identified as a feminist his entire career, and in 2009 the Dalai Lama pretty much hit the nail on the head by saying “I call myself a Feminist. Isn’t that what you call someone who fights for women’s rights?” I’d also like to point out that this same man has also been quoted for speaking up for being pro LGBT, but that’s for another rant.
I could tear apart the logic given to me that men can’t be feminists by giving example after example all day long, but apparently some people are just too dense to do their research because they have their heads up their asses. I see some often come up with “well, my male friend had a bad experience with a woman, that’s why I’m antifeminist.” Just because that they had a bad experience with a woman doesn’t mean that the woman was one of those so called feminists. There are plenty of women who aren’t one of those so called feminists or feminists at all that can give men a hard time. There are plenty of women who aren’t “feminists” that abuse men, and there are plenty of women who aren’t “feminists” that are just as bossy and domineering as those “feminists.”
Do I hate feminism? No, I think that the ideology that men and women are equal is a good ideology. Do I hate Feminists? No, And Like I said, these man controlling bitches aren’t feminists. I guess that people could consider me a feminist. Yes, and I’m male. Do I hate men? No. Do I hate women? Nope, not at all. Is some “feminist” pulling my strings because I a man identify as a feminist? No, and I’d rather choke on my tea than admit to the absurd thought that some domineering “feminist” is pulling my strings.
This post is probably going to get a lot of backlash, and I’m prepared for that, but please know that this post was made with the text book definition of feminism in mind and some careful research, and yes, the quotes and things on celebrities are indeed legitimate, anyone can look them up.
So here I am with another rant? Maybe?  I'm not sure... Preview pic made by littleladylucifer Please be sure to go check out her work.

you don't fight inequality, you fight for inequality. you blame your problems on men and demand rights OVER men, despite what you saying, "Feminism is about equality"
